Anti porn group attacks brothel plan to raise money for charity

The ‘Operation Darknet’ raids in Sydney were the brainchild of an Anonymous hacker known as ‘Azzaman’ who has reportedly been linked to the anti-piracy group Operation Payback, which is running against child porn sites online.
The investigation has revealed a number of internet brothels, run by suspected online ‘porn kingpins’, were being raided.
The raids, carried out by the Australian Federal Police, are the latest in a wave of police raids over the last four years targeting online porn.

A total of 10 brothels, including one in the CBD, have now been raided on suspicion of prostitution and selling drugs.
One of the raided brothels is allegedly owned by a man known as ‘Azzaman’.
A spokesperson for the police said the raids were not connected to Operation Payback, which launched its raid last month.
Police have also reportedly been investigating a number of other online escort and sex sites after receiving anonymous phone calls claiming they had been targeted by criminal gangs looking for customers online.
The raids and arrests follow the publication of a number of shocking police operations in Australia’s pornography industry, including two busts in Melbourne in February and in Sydney two weeks ago.
More recently the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse has found police actions against online pornography sites amounted to child abuse, although not sex offenders.
In March there were raids in Melbourne as well as Sydney.
The RCA report found there were “mixed results from police response to internet pornography-related incidents”, with an additional 13 ca바카라ses recorded over the past six months, and a total of 796 reports of child pornography being reported on the social networking site.

The RCA report also found that child sexual exploitation (CSE) websites run by suspected online “porn kingpins” were the focus of police raids, although none were being investigated at the time.
